PAINTING A PET PORTRAIT
The Tabletop Painting
The tabletop painting is a painting on paper by hand with designer gouache. Gouache is an opaque watercolor paint and is very sensitive to moisture and touch. The painting is presented with a choice of an acrylic frame with a chrome easel or a brass frame with a brass easel.
Stage One
When starting a commissioned painting Trish will carefully analyze the photos you sent as reference and with careful deliberation will make a drawing to capture the personality of your pet on paper.
Stage Two
From the drawing stage the painting will commence and a palette will be chosen that will fit the design and composition of your pet.
Stage Three
After completing your painting, acid free decorative paper will be chosen to complement the design of the painting, the frame and the easel.
From stage one, receiving your photos, to stage three, the completion of the painting, your tabletop painting will then be ready for shipping.
Pet Portrait
After receiving your portrait it is ready for display on your table top.
