Commissioning a Portrait

It might be helpful to read the FAQ’s to get an overall view of the process of a commissioned portrait.

Acrylic Frame and Chrome Easel
Brass Frame and Brass Easel

After the decision to purchase, you will be asked which size you would like, the 4×6 or 5×7. You can choose either the acrylic frame with chrome easel or brass the frame with brass easel and if you want the portrait paper embossed. Then you can place the order in the shop.

taking photos for pet portraits

Send six photos you take of your pet at eye level. Preferably take the photos outside in the sunlight or indoors near natural light ( near a window). Please try not to take a down shot (above eye level) of your pet. Down shots accentuate their nose and are somewhat distorted. It is best to take a couple pictures of the front, the sides and the three-quarter views of their faces.

Receiving your Portrait

The painting will be shipped free when Trish is finished. Or if it is a gift it can be sent directly to that person after it is completed. You will be notified when it is on its way.
