Most of what is on the internet are photos that have been digitally retouched in photoshop or some other painting program which is printed out as a giclee ( Zhee-clay), on a surface such as paper or canvas and not an original painting.

After you send your pet’s photos, Trish will then create a commissioned portrait. This is a one of a kind painting done by using the finest quality paper with a gouache medium. Gouache is in the watercolor family, so it will bleed if water or moisture comes in contact with it. The portrait is painted by hand without painting on a computer. It is then placed in a quality frame (Acrylic or Brass), fine designer paper, easel and it will then be shipped free. This is a table top painting, meaning it can be placed on any table, desk, or shelf and can easily be moved to other locations with ease.
